Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, is a powerful practice in both yogic and Ayurvedic traditions. It balances the body’s energy channels (nadis), calms the nervous system, and helps relieve anxiety.

How to Practice:

  1. Find a Quiet Space: Sit comfortably with your spine straight.

  2. Close the Right Nostril: Use your right thumb to gently close your right nostril. Inhale deeply through the left nostril.

  3. Switch Sides: Close the left nostril with your ring finger, release the right nostril, and exhale fully through the right side.

  4. Inhale Right, Exhale Left: After exhaling, inhale through the right, then switch to exhale through the left.

  5. Repeat for 5-10 Minutes: Continue this alternating pattern, staying mindful of the breath.
